 On the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, in the context of proportional development of the capital, large-scale lighting is being fulfilled in all the administrative districts of the capital. The persons in charge of the sphere were assigned to provide external lighting all the streets, yards, gardens and parks which are put into operation.
According to the program of Yerevan development of 2013 the list of lighted streets will be replenished with 14.In the framework of the program stated from the beginning of the year the process of modernization of the system of external lighting has been finished in 9 streets, in other 5 streets the process is still going on.
Within the frames of the program of yard improvement, on the instruction of Mayor Taron Margaryan modernization of external lighting systems is being implemented in parallel. Besides the annual program of develоpment additional program has provided lighting in 27 yard areas. Due to the same programs 6 secondary streets were provided with proper lighting.
Within the framework of the program of expansion of external lighting network this year a new approach will be shown regarding lighting of the highway connecting Leningradyan street to Isakov avenue. The new motorway will be lit with LED lamps which provide lighting corresponding to required norms and save the energy.
