 The activities of functional restoration of arch passages, their repairing and unique decoration provided by the programs of Yerevan development for 2013 and started at the beginning of the year have been completely over.
As a result of the program implementation about 35 arch passages have been repaired this year. The program started in 2011 in the context of proportional development of Yerevan, in accordance with the instruction of mayor Taro Margaryan, included arch passages in all the administrative districts.
Totally, in the mentioned period all the arch passages where decoration had been permitted by specialists, were completely repaired and decorated. As a result of the activities carried out within the framework of the program of improvement of the external look oof the capital, 179 arch passages have been improved up today: they have been decorated with various landscapes, sights of Armenia and the pictures describing cultural and historical monuments.
