Taron Margaryan and Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz signed a Memorandum of Intentions

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited Poland as a member of the delegation headed by the RA President Serzh Sargsyan who is in the Republic of Poland with an official visit. The Mayor of Yerevan had a meeting with the mayor of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.
Greeting Taron Margaryan Mrs Gronkiewicz-Waltz stressed that the friendship between Armenians and Poles has a century-old strong basis and this fact makes hosting the Mayor of Yerevan more expected and pleasant.
"The century-old friendship between Armenians and Poles is really a serious and significant stimulus for establishment of close relationship between the capital of the two countries, and I am sure that together in a very short time we will achieve success in mutually beneficial cooperation", stressed Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness for cooperation Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn stressed the importance of development and strengthening of bilateral ties, particularly pointing out experience exchange in city economy management in various spheres and the implementation of mutually-beneficial projects.
"Today Yerevan really has big potential for mutually beneficial cooperation and I am sure that we will really achieve success in mutually beneficial cooperation. In this context I consider signing a Memorandum of Intentions an important step to develop active cooperation between Yerevan and Warsaw and it will certainly become an additional stimulus for making the friendship between the two capitals stronger and putting it on a new basis", said Taron Margaryan.
Then Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and Warsaw Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz signed the memorandum of Intentions according to which the two capitals are obliged to develop the friendship and promote active cooperation between Yerevan and Warsaw.
At the end of the meeting Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan once again thanked for warm reception and invited Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz to Yerevan.
