The issues related to further cooperation between Yerevan and Glendale have been discussed

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the member of the City Council of Glendale, California Zareh Sinanyan. Greeting the guest Mayor Taron Margaryan attached importance to the fact that the first Armenia born politician had been elected member of the Glendale City Council and expressed hope that Zareh Simonyan in his turn would contribute to strengthening and expansion of business ties with Glendale.
"I am sure that Yerevan and Glendale have wide perspectives for cooperation both in various fields of urban economy and experience exchange in management. Taking into account the existence of Memorandum of Understanding signed between Glendale and Kentron administrative district of Yerevan and the role of the Armenian community I think that we’ll be able to establish mutually beneficial cooperation", said Taron Margaryan.
Having thanked for warm welcome the member of the Glendale City Council Zareh Sinanyan expressed confidence that in the future the relations between Yerevan and Glendale will become closer and more practical. "I am very pleased to be in Yerevan and I’m sure that the two cities really have big potential for implementation of joint programs", said Zareh Sinanyan and taking the opportunity invited Taron Margaryan to Glendale with an official visit with the aim of more thorough discussion of the issues related to deepening the relationship.
