 The employees of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control of the Municipality of Yerevan fulfilled dismantling activities in the area of the market N1, or as it is commonly called "Covered makert".
As the head of the Department of urban Development and Land Control Hayk Asatryan said, the work was carried out to prevent building of a multi-story construction over the roof of the "Covered makert".
The concrete pillars placed with a violation of the perspective and volume standards were dismantled. In accordance with the procedure, the Municipality first warned the building developer about elimination of the violation by their own means. Afterwards the dismantling has been implemented.
Hayk Asatryan informed that the issue referring to confirmation of corresponding urban development documentation for fulfilling multi-story building over the roof of the market had never been and will never be discussed by the Municipality.
