 The 35th review of the annual festival of young musicians after Aram Khachatryan took place in the house-museum of the world-famous composer.
Since the day of its foundation the festival has been held on Aram Khachatryan’s birthday, June 6. This year the composer’s son Karen Khachatryan was the honorary guest of the review festival.
This year 12 pupils of musical schools of Yerevan have participated in the annual festival of young musicians organized by the Municipality of Yerevan. All the participants were awarded with encouraging prizes and diplomas. As the organizers said, the aim of the festival is rather to reveal talented creative children than to hold a competition.
Before the concert program started the members of the families of Aram Khachatryan’s close friends presented the house-museum some items which once belonged to the famous musician.
