 By the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in 2012 shabby or missing furniture in kindergartens was inventoried and the list of the types and the number of necessary equipment was made up.
According to the head of the Department of General Education Gayane Soghomonyan, the 2013 program of supplying kindergartens with equipment is unprecedented: all the kindergartens have been included and will get the listed furniture completely.
The complex program of 2013 providing kindergartens with new furniture includes electrical appliances: cookers, freezers, fridges, mincing machines; hard furniture for the children of junior and senior groups: 2313 tables and 10.000 small chairs and so on.
1150 three-storied beds of provided 1859 ones are already in kindergartens. The party of wardrobes has been distributed completely: 1253 ones; kitchen appliances, particularly 1894 enameled pans and kettles of different capacity as well as 274 sets of spoons of 12 ones each have been distributed, too.
All the 88 freezers, 101 mincing machines, as well as 48 cookers of already purchased 94 ones have already been distributed to kindergartens.
