Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan participated in the opening of the monument to the former leader of the administrative district of Nor Nork David Rafiki Petrosyan.
Taking into account the proposals made by the residents of the district the Council of Elders of Yerevan made a decision to place the monument in the area adjacent to the art school after H. Danielyan at Guy avenue 17.
David Petrosyan had his special contribution to the issue of development and construction of Nor Nork. The author of the monument is sculptor Levon Tokmajyan.
David Petrosyan's father, Rafik Petrosyan expressed gratitude to the Council of Elders and personally to Taron Margaryan for support and consistency.
Within the framework of his visit to Nor Nork district Mayor Taron Margaryan also walked about and talked with the residents, got acquainted with the process of building a chapel in the area adjacent to the museum after Frityof Nansen in the park bearing the same name.
