The Mayor of Yerevan, the chairman of the council of Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction Taron Margaryan participated in the opening of the jubilee exhibition of the works of the professor of the chair of aesthetics, painting, drawing of the same university, the RA Honoured painter Hrant Tadevosyan organized on the occasion of his 75th jubilee. The Vice-Prime Minister of the RA, the acting Munister of Territorial Management Armen Gevorgyan and the acting Minister of Education of Science Armen Ashotyan were also present at the ceremony of opening.
Accompanied by Hrant Tadevosyan Yerevan Mayor walked about the exhibition hall, watched the displayed works. Hrant Tadevosyan is a representative of the senior generation of Armenian painters whose creations are always distinguished with their peculiar colourful solutions and multi-genre thematic directions.
The Scientific Council of YSUAC made a decision to perform a proposal to award Hrant Tadevosyan with the title of the Armenian People’s Artist.
The exhibition organized in the Union of Artists of Armenia is open for 10 days.
