During the meeting with the members of the national Union of the Ezidis in Armenia Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Vano Vardanyan greeting the guests congratulated the Ezidis community on behalf of Mayor Taron Margaryan on the event of their New Year-Tausi Malaki and conveyed them the congratulation address of the Mayor of Yerevan.
Vano Vardanyan noted that the centuries-old friendship between Armenians and Ezidis is expressed in performing various initiatives in the public, political and cultural life of the capital. Vano Vardanyan also assured that the Municipality of Yerevan is always ready to cooperate within its powers and support the representatives of the Community of Ezidis.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception the members of the community stressed that Yerevan has become their cultural center where all the conditions for keeping the national description of the Ezidis have been provided.
The member of the Union Hasan Tamoyan, thanked Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan for willingness to support the opening of the Ezidiz’ cultural center and assured that their community is always ready to take active part in public and cultural life of the capital.
