During the regular working conference held in the City Hall of Yerevan it was reported that 4800 women turned to medical establishments within the action "For you, women" held from March 8 to April 7. Within the 30 days of the action besides the women got free medical aid including the women operated on there are still women waiting for their turn. It was instructed to finish the action only after all the registered women have received their medical service.
Due to favourable weather conditions the fountains in the capital have started working since April 7. It was instructed to set everyday consistent control over uninterrupted work of the fountains and water construction in general.
Related to the annual program of asphalting of the streets and yard areas started in the capital the heads of the administrative districts were instructed to set everyday control over the quality of asphalting activities and its schedule in parallel with the activity of the specialists controlling the technical standards. It was also instructed to take measures so that the defects found out in the asphalting carried out the previous year were eliminated by the asphalting companies fulfilled the work. The Road police was instructed to take measures to exclude parking of vehicles at the sidewalks and lawns.
It was also reported during the conference that this week a competition for another 7 itineraries completing the transportation network of the capital is to be held. It was instructed to be consistent in the issue of keeping the determined schedule.
Expansion of Wi-Fi system in the transportation system of the capital is going on. Installation of GPS devices on another 100 buses is going on as well.
To accomplish yard improvement program more efficiently and completely it was instructed to carry out decoration of arch passages in parallel with yard improvement activities. It was reported that the discussions of sketches had already been started.
In the 16th quarter another building has been supplied with gas. It was reported that in other building the work providing air condition ways had been over and another 2 buildings are ready for gas installation.
Regarding preparations for the citywide tree planting announced for April 14 it was reported that the number of the sorts of trees necessary for tree planting are already in Yerevan. It was instructed to distribute the trees to all the state and private organizations which are willing to assist in Yerevan landscaping.
