 Snow cleaning of the pavements, parks and yard areas is going on in all the administrative districts.During the regular working conference Mayor Taron Margaryan once again instructed the responsible persons to ensure meeting the obligations concerning compulsory improvement of their surrounding public areas by economy entities. It was instructed to subject all the entities failing their contractual obligations to the administrative penalties determined by the RA law "On Trade and services" and "On administrative violations".
It was reported that everyday control is going on over the quality of public transport service. It was instructed to strengthen control over parking of vehicles in unpermitted places. It was also reported that as a result of the competitions announced for transport itinerary services in the capital there are no vehicles of "RAF" and "YERAZ" production as well as no vehicles operated for more than 15 years.
In accordance with the schedule fixed within road construction programs the construction of the new 2,5-km-long bypass motorway leading from Ulnetsi street to Rubinyants street, as well as of the motorway connecting Leningradyan street and Isakov avenue are going on. Mayor Taron Margaryan assigned the executives to keep the process and the quality of work under control.
It was reported that with the aim of preventing emergency situations with the balconies of the buildings a working group had been formed and all the buildings with such problems had been inventoried. To start the work it was instructed to prepare all the necessary design estimate documentation within a short time and submit it for financial assessment.
Regarding the process of gas supply in the blocks of flats of the 16th quarter it was reported that the projects had already been ordered and large-scale preparations are going on. It was instructed to finish the work in possibly short time and provide the residents with gas.
The head of the Department of Social Welfare reported that in accordance with the Mayor’s instruction the process of showing social support to the Syrian Armenian families is going on.During the last week 167 families received assistance and 23 families got free medical aid. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to go on the process of showing social assistance to Syrian Armenian families.
Regarding the work of hot lines and receiving alarm calls from the residents the head of the Department of Control reported that within the last week 108 calls were received in the administrative districts and the corresponding structures subordinated to the Municipality and the calls mainly concerned communal-general service. It was also reported that major part of them got their solution. The Mayor instructed the heads of the administrative districts to inform the population by all possible means about the hot lines functioning in the Municipality and in the administrative districts.
On the event of the Army's Day, by the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan a visit to military units will be organized for the parents of the Yerevan residents who are serving in the army in the NKR and in Syunik and Tavush marzes. It was instructed to hold events devoted to the day in the administrative districts as well.
