The Mayor of Yerevan, the President of the Council of Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction Taron Margaryan together with the RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan participated in the opening of the overhauled basic high school N 3 after Manuk Abeghyan attached to Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction.
The Mayor together with all the guests walked about the school, got acquainted with the work done and made sure that today there are all the conveniences necessary for ensuring the quality of education.
Expressing gratitude to Mayor Taron Margaryan for effective cooperation the rector of the YSUAC Hovhannes Tokmajyan in accordance with the decision of the Scientific Council of the university awarded Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan with "Armenia-Artsakh engineering cooperation gold medal.
Then Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the vent dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the YSUAC
In his congratulation on the jubilee Taron Margaryan assured that the Municipality will keep doing its best to support the initiated programs and realize them.
"Both as the President of the University Council and as the Mayor of Yerevan I assure you that the Municipality will always be next to the university and the effective cooperation existing today will be long-lasting. Taking the opportunity I'd like to thank the rector of the university for forming such healthy atmosphere which is obvious today", said the Mayor.
On the event of the jubilee a number of members of professorate of the university were rewarded with the state prizes of the RA President, the RA Prime Minister and the RA Minister of Education and Science.
On the occasion of the 90th jubilee of YSUAC, for great contribution to the spheres of architecture, construction, science and education organization the Dean of the Faculty of Design and Computer Projecting, the Doctor of Technical Science Levon Tokmajyan and the Chairman of the Chair of Painting and Sculpture Professor Albert Sokhikyan were awarded with the gold medal of the Mayor of Yerevan.
