Chairman of the Permanent Commission of Foreign Relations of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zakaryan had a meeting with the head of the parliamentary group of National Minorities of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament and head of Romanian-Armenian community Varujan Pambukchyan. During the meeting sides discussed the activation of activities of Armenia-Romania interparliamentary fraternal group, development of parliamentary relations, matters of great interest for both sides. Varujan Pambukchyan represented current activity of Romanian-Armenian community, spheres of cooperation with Armenia and works to be done.

Artak Zakaryan met his colleague Chairman of the Permanent Commission of Foreign Relations of the Parliament of Romania Laszlo Borbely. Laszlo Borbely emphasized the importance of cooperation between the parliamentarian groups and expressed his readiness to support official visits and realization of joint programs. Representing political party “Democratic Union of the Hungarians in Romania” and being Hungarian by nationality Laszlo Borbely said that he was very sorry for what happened and qualified praising Savarof and making a hero out of him as a big diplomatic mistake of Azerbaijani president.

Artak Zakaryan will take part in activities of political Assembly of Democratic Political Party of Europe in Bucharest on October 16.
