To provide cleanness of the capital as well as to avoid impermissible ways of spreading advertisements on the walls and columns Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to place special notice-boards in the busy parts of the capital and the process is still going on.Pointing out during the regular working conference that placing of such notice-boards serves its purpose Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to increase their number. "Study the areas in all the administrative districts and pick up the places where it’s possible to place such notice-boards and accomplish the process in short time", said the Mayor also instructing to go on the process of cleaning the walls and columns of the blocks of flats and the buildings of public significance from advertisements and posters stuck there. It was reported that in accordance with the Mayor's instruction, within the framework of the program of improvement the outward look of Yerevan all the useless advertisements remained since the Soviet years were being dismantled in the administrative districts.Referring to the everyday control over the quality of public transport service the Mayor instructed to set tight control both over the Municipality subordinated enterprises engaged in passenger transportation and the over the private ones. It was also instructed to pay special attention to the number of vehicles put into itineraries and the to supervise so that public transport vehicles have stops only in permitted bus stop zones. It was reported that the pilot program of installing electronic timetables system corresponding to European standards in the bus stop zones of the capital is still going on and according to this program in the nearest future the residents would have an opportunity to get information on the order and the intervals of the arrival of the expected vehicles.Within the frames of the annual programs regarding building and improvement of the capital it was reported that in parallel with asphalting activities the process of replacing old damaged concrete and basalt kerbs with new ones was going on. It was also reported that of the seven overground crossings provided by this year program 5 ones had already been operated and have been provided with night lighting. The Mayor instructed to ensure exceptionally underground installation of power supply lines.
The program of expansion of Wi-Fi systems in the parks and gardens of the capital is going on as well. It has been instructed to take steps towards providing of such communication in the other lively parts of the capital.
Mayor Taron Margaryan offered to arrange the ceremonies of solemn opening of the statues confirmed by the Art Commission of the Urban Development Council adjunct to the Mayor within the frames of Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations.
It was also instructed to ensure the festive look of the capital on the Day of 21st anniversary of the RA Independence.
