 Today, President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation of the representatives of Divan - executive body of the Ramkavar Azatakan Party (RAK) headed by the Board Chairman Hakop Avetikian.

The representatives of the governing body of the Ramkavar Azatakan Party, which has recently been registered in Armenia and is the legal successor to HRAK and Armenakan-RAK parties, presented to Serzh Sargsyan the forthcoming programs of the Party, spoke about launching active works in Armenia’s political life, as well as about the RAK’s aspiration to unite the Party in Spyurk. The participants of the meeting asked the President to speak about certain issues pertinent to the Republic’s economic, political life and foreign policy, expressed their concern with the plight of our compatriots living in Syria and suggested avenues to help them.

The representatives of the Ramkavar Azatakan Party expressed hope that their unification in Motherland and accomplishments in the country’s political life could facilitate the unification of the Party in Spyurk too. They noted that the RAK has decided to bring its active participation to Armenia’s political life, participate at the local and state elections. The Party has already made first steps in that direction by presenting candidates for the upcoming elections for local self-governing bodies.
