 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the World organization of Scout Movement Luc Panissod who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the measures to be held in the capital on the e of event of 100th anniversary of Armenian Scout Movement foundation. Members of the world and regional scout movement delegation also participated in the meeting.Greeting the guests and stressing the role and the mission of the scout movement, Taron Margaryan pointed out within the scope of different measures the Municipality had supported the structure for years and now it is also ready to go on cooperation within its powers and assist the structure in realization of new programs."Scout Movement has spread all over the world and in Armenia as well. This year the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Scouting and I'd like to congratulate everybody on the event. By the way, I'd like to note that" The Armenian National Scout Movement" NGO has recently become a member of the Youth Commission of the Urban Development Council adjunct to the Mayor of Yerevan so we have all the preconditions to develop efficient cooperation", said Taron Margaryan.The CEO of the WOSM Luc Panissod in his turn expressed gratitude to the Mayor for warm reception and conveyed greetings and thanks of more than 39 million of scouts of the movement to Taron Margaryan for the support shown in arrangement of the measures dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Scout Movement. Mr. Pannisod also noted that the young can be of great importance and significance in development of any community.The Mayor once again re-stated his willingness to support the programs aimed at spiritual and physical upbringing of the youth in Yerevan and stressed that the Municipality is always ready to assist in the implementation of new joint ideas and initiatives concerning the youth.
