The regular season of the Yerevan Zoological Garden has been officially opened

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the opening of the regular season of the Yerevan Zoo. High festive mood was provided here for little animal lovers.On this event the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan instructed to make children’s entry free of charge.In different part of the Zoo various measures were organized for little visitors.Taron Margaryan accompanied by the director of the Zoo and the young animal lovers walked about the Zoo, familiarized himself with the conditions created for animals.The director of the Zoo reported to the mayor that the activities provided for the previous year had been mainly carried out and all the requirements set by the Municipality are gradually being implemented.After walking around and talking to the journalists Taron Margaryan congratulated everyone on the Zoo season opening and pointed out that the programs of the Zoo development are to be long-lasting."We cooperate with different international organizations including the companies which are interested in the Zoo garden. We have rough drafts which are to be realized in short terms and the Zoo will satisfy to international standards. The positive shift is obvious and we’ll do our best to create high mood and convenience for each visitor every day" stressed Taron Margaryan.As an important achievement of the year the director of the zoo Ruben Khachatryan outlined supplying the Zoo with gas by the instruction of Mayor Taron Margaryan."Due to assistance of the Mayor of Yerevan we have been able to solve the problem of heating the cages of the Zoo. Being deprived of such a possibility for more than 70 years this year the animals will be completely provided with heating. By the Municipality program improvement activities, repairing and enlarging of cages have been carried out in the Zoo as well", said the director of the Zoo.Taron Margaryan also talked with the visitors, heard out their opinions. The residents expressed their delight and gratitude to the Mayor for noticeable changes in the Zoo and in the capital in general.
