 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the leaders of the Armenian Federation of Oriental martial Arts greeting the initiative of the memorandum signed by them recently and expressed willingness of the Municipality to support sport development in the capital.
The head of the Kick-Boxing Federation of Armenia Garnik Hairapetyan presented Mayor Taron Margaryan the signed memorandum according to which the member federations will joint efforts to impart patriotism among the young of pre-conscription age, as well as to organize free trainings for orphans, children of families with many children and of the fallen in Artsakh war.
The leaders of sport federations expressed gratitude to Taron Margaryan for willingness to show support, expressing confidence that the memorandum will promote spreading healthy life style among the young and will prevent them from social gangs. "Sport forms a certain psychology: will, friendliness, and why not patience to achieve the goal. You have represented Armenia with honour in many countries and if so many federations united around a memorandum I am sure your initiative will surely serve to its goal. The Municipality represented by the administrative districts is always open and willing to support your unity" said the Mayor.
Taron Margaryan awarded 12 leaders of Oriental Martial Art federations with the diplomas of Yerevan Mayor for contribution to sports dissemination and development.
