Prime Minister of Armenia receives IMF Executive Director

Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received Monday Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Menno Snel, who coordinates the works with Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Israel, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Romania and Ukraine.
Welcoming and congratulating the guest on taking the office, Tigran Sargsyan expressed hope that the cooperation will go on expanding hereafter too, government's press service told Armenpress.
Menno Snel, attaching importance to development of cooperation with Armenia, noted it is useful for both sides. Afterward, the interlocutors discussed issues on improvement of the business environment in Armenia, reforms implemented in the spheres of taxes, customs and pension.
The parties also referred to the further policy of the IMF, which will be aimed at quick response to various economic developments in partner countries.
