Republican Party of Armenia

In parliamentary elections of 2007 Republican Party of Armenia won under the slogan "For you, Armenia". During these years, just as before, Armenia was the greatest value, which lay at the heart of all our undertakings and initiatives and in the basis of everything we did. Within 5 years we have constantly strengthened our state, increased its protective mechanisms and flexibility.
Despite the external challenges and internal problems, as a result of consistent and hard work, we have:
- maintained stability in the country in face of crisis
- achieved an open political system, rejecting the influence of self-centered leaders and monetary monopoly
- changed the enrooted stereotypes of criticism and restored the rights of opposition to a different opinion
- taken the initiative and clarity in regional processes, acting as a responsible and predictable member of the international community
- continued the process of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide with joint efforts of Armenia and Diaspora
- strengthened the sovereignty of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic using the full support of the Republic of Armenia
- strengthened the country’s defense potential by introducing new weapons and technology
There are no doubts, we will retain and strengthen our achievements.
Today it’s quite clear that the necessary conditions were created for the sustainable development of Armenia and the Republican Party is ready to intensify its efforts to ensure the country’s progress in the future.
Under the slogan "For you, Armenia", we have ensured the establishment of the Armenian State, strengthened the foundations of civil coexistence and reinforced our country’s position in the world.
From now on the Republican Party of Armenia will be mainly focused on the people, the citizens of Armenia. We used to say "For you, Armenia", now we are saying "Better Armenia for everyone."
Today, the economic growth or decline in Armenia is largely dependent on external factors. To avoid this in the future, we need to move from the desire for economic growth to the concept of economic development, which is based on new sectors of the economy, production of new goods and services, thereby ensuring the creation of additional jobs.
We move towards systemic innovations, because the future requires changes. And the future will belong to those who will be capable of guaranteeing these changes. But to do that, first and foremost, we must change ourselves, the front-rank innovators. With this understanding the Republican Party undertakes a mission of implementing the innovation process in Armenia.
In the upcoming parliamentary elections, which we consider to be a tool or an instrument for achieving the goals of the nation and the state, the Republican Party faces the trial of its nation with long-term experience and continually fueled by inspiration, as a team of people united by the national conservative idea, who intend to win the confidence of their people and implement system changes.
In this regard, we once again invite all patriotic public and political organizations and individuals to join the efforts in implementing reforms in Armenia.
For this we need to believe. Believe in our collective and individual abilities and skills. With this faith, we must overcome the negative experience of the past and introduce into our lives new, positive traditions - traditions inherent for any civilized society of the 21st century.
Above all, we must overcome the disease that swept our society, which is called corruption. All legal means, including “surgical measures” are going to be used.
We must change our attitude to the native state, our standards of conduct in the street, at workplace and in educational institutions. We need to replace people who are not in place and change the laws that are imperfect: to change in order to make them better.
But any improvement strengthens the faith. Therefore, we need to change in order to believe. We need to nurture our faith by our actions.
We believe in the potential of our people and the state and are determined to make improvements - change for the sake of achieving our cherished dreams and goals.
Let us believe and together we will be capable of improving ourselves and our country.
Believe in order to improve.
