 Armenia’s former education minister and Republican Party member, Armen Ashotyan, sat down with CivilNet to reflect on the 5th anniversary of the 2018 Velvet Revolution, which catapulted Nikol Pashinyan to power. Ashotyan discussed Pashinyan’s predecessors' share of responsibility for Armenia’s defeat in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, if the revolution was really non-violent and why opinion polls continue to show Pashinyan’s Civil Contract having a wide lead over all other political parties in the country.
