On the occasion of Bako Sahakian’s birth anniversary Serzh Sargsyan spoke on the phone with the members of his family

Today, on the occasion of birth anniversary of the former president of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakian, the second President of the Republic of Armenia, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan spoke on the phone with the members of his family, wished them patience and tenacity.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that the sham trials, which are going on today in Baku against his brother-in-arms and other representatives of Artsakh’s military and political leadership who had fought for freedom and independence of Artsakh and gave the best years of their life for the security of the people of Artsakh, would be concluded soon and that Bako Sahakian along with all our other prisoners of war, who were being held as hostages, would come home.
President Sargsyan assured that his political force RPA and he personally toward that end would continue within the scope of their abilities to do everything possible on the international platforms and in Armenia to constantly voice that issue, seek avenues for the proper legal defense and justice, as well as would take care of the families of the brothers-in-arms who are were held illegally in Baku jails.
