The Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia expresses its concern about the created situation around Syunik Province, particularly the fact that Azerbaijani troops have trespassed the state border in the sector of “Sev Litch” (Black Lake) and the fact that they have advanced at a depth of 3.5 kilometers.

 

 

The Executive Body records that the events developed in such a way as a result of the criminal inaction of the government of capitulators of Armenia, their wrong assessment of the situation, as well as the deep crisis created within the public administration and security systems and the devastating consequences of the recent war in Artsakh.

 

At the same time, it is necessary to record that there are risks of escalation after these incidents related to breach of the territorial integrity of Armenia, but the incumbent authorities are not taking the necessary steps to prevent and neutralize escalation.

 

As a result, Azerbaijan is expanding its toolkit to exert pressure on Armenia and prepare favorable ground for anticipating new concessions from the Armenian side and presenting new demands to the Armenian side.

 

 

The current deficient government does not have command of the internal and external tools to maintain the territorial integrity of Armenia and restore sovereignty of the state.

 

The Executive Body also records that the risks threatening Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the Armenian people, collectively, increase every day so long as the incumbent government continues to serve its term of office.
