Only freedom-loving and valorous peoples are capable of imposing peace on militant and savage tribes.

 

I said it many years ago on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day, and I am just as much convinced today as it was obvious on May 9, 1992 that we are not going to sacrifice our lives and freedoms, our rights and dignity.

Victory goes to those who deserve it, who know best the price of peace. Let us be worthy of the memory of our heroes who preferred fighting to the last as they did not want to live under the yoke of aliens, who boasted glorious victories in their fight for freedom.
