 Today, at the Presidential Palace, the official farewell ceremony for the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili who had arrived in Armenia on an official visit took place.

Before the ceremony of farewell, during the private meeting, the Presidents of the two states summed up the results of the negotiations in the framework of President Margvelashvili’s visit. The parties made sure that those results will give a new impulse to the development of the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations and the advancement of the cooperation in a number of fields being of mutual interest.

Today, the President of Georgia will also visit the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin and will meet with the Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Garegin II.

After having a working dinner with President Serzh Sargsyan, the delegation led by the President of Georgia will leave Armenia.
