Meetings in Gegharquniq and Tavush regions

Serzh Sargsyan continues his pre-election meetings in the RA regions. Within the framework of the pre-election campaign he visited a number of urban and rural communities of Gegharquniq and Tavush regions. The presidential candidate visited Shorja, Chambarak, Aygut communities in Gegharquniq region, as well as Ghosh, Ijevan, Haghartsin, Dilijan communities in Tavush region. At the meetings with voters he presented his pre-election program, spoke about current problems and their solutions depending on the peculiarities of communities, as well as answered the questions of voters.
In the above mentioned regions Serzh Sargsyan spoke about the necessity of nature protection underlining that special attention would be paid to the development of alternative energy recourses and renewable energy sources.
The presidential candidate also touched upon educational issues. “The quality of primary education will be considerably improved; new kindergartens will be built in many communities. We are going to make considerable changes in higher education system. Higher education will be free for needy families,” said Serzh Sargsyan.
Within the framework of the pre-election campaign, besides the meeting with voters, Serzh Sargsyan got acquainted with the fish farming pilot program of Lake Sevan, discussed issues of Lake Sevan.
Serzh Sargsyan called on the voters to take an active part in the coming presidential elections underlining that the most important thing is to hold free, fair elections. "The authorities come and go, but Motherland remains. And that is why the authorities' duty is to create eternal values. Motherland is constant and durable with these values", said Serzh Sargsyan.
In Goshavank the presidential candidate attended youth blessing ceremony on the occasion of St. Sargis holiday celebrations, as well as participated in the opening ceremonies of the medical center “Tavush” and the RA Central Bank “Knowledge for development” centre.
