MINASYAN Gagik

Member of RPA Supreme Body

Born on April 5, 1950 in Yerevan.

1972 - Graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in. He is an EPM engineer.

1972 - 1997 - Worked first as an engineer and later - senior scientific associate, head of a subdivision, and then head of the data processing unit at the Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines.

1998 - 1999 - Advisor to the Prime Minister.

1997 - 1999 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, Republic bloc). He was a member of the Republic faction and later Yerkrapah Deputy Group.

1999 - 2003 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, Unity Alliance). He was first a member and later Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs. He was also a member of the Unity Faction.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.) He was the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit, Budgetary and Economic Affairs of the National Assembly. He was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia faction.

May 12, 2007 - Elected as Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia/RPA.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA.)

June 7, 2007 - present - Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial - Credit, Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA council.

May 6, 2012 - Elected as Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenian.

Mr. Minasyan is married with two children.
