Born on 1July 1950, Haghartsin.

1967 - graduated from Ijevan secondary school N1.

1967- 1972 - Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, electrical engineer.

1972-1980 – engineer, senior engineer of «Agate» all-union Scientific Research Institute.

1980-1982 - head of group in All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Nuclear Power Plants.

1982-1998 – department head, deputy director, director in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

1998-1999 - managing director of "Infofayl" JSC.

1999 -2000 - deputy division head of the Institute for Standardization, Metrology and Certification.

2000-2003 - member of the National Assembly of RA.

2003-2008 - Deputy Minister of Trade and Economic Development.

2008-2016 - Deputy Minister of Economy.

Member of the Republican Party of Armenia.

Married, has two children.
