Born on 31 August 1950, Maylis, Kyrgyzstan. 1956 – moved to Yerevan, Armenia.

1968 – graduated from Yerevan secondary school No. 11.

1973 - graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Economics. Diploma in Economics.

1973-1992 - engineer-economist at All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Electronic Engineering materials, Yerevan branch.

In 1992-1996 - customs officer at RA State Customs Committee.

In 1996-1999 - senior specialist at Urban Development and Land Inspection department, Yerevan municipality.

In 1999-2000 – Human Resources Director at Public Procurement Agency of RA.

2006 – head of division in Procurement Support Center of RA.

1968 - member of National United Party.

Since 1993 - member of Republican Party of Armenia.

1997 – Chair of RPA Audit Committee.
