Was born on June 11, 1969, in the village of Tegh.
In 1986, he graduated from Local Secondary School No. 1. During the years 1986-1993, he studied at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of the Yerevan Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, obtaining the qualification of a stockbreeder-engineer. From 1987 to 1989 he served in the Soviet Army. During the years 1997-1999, he worked as a secretary in the local village council. From 1999 to 2002, he was the head of the Tegh community.
From 2012 to 2013, Mr Shadunts worked as a chief specialist at the Subdivision of Nature Protection of the Department of Agriculture and Nature Protection. During 2012-2013, he served as the Head of the Subdivision of Nature Protection of the Department of Agriculture and Nature Protection.
In 2013, by the order of the Chief of Staff of Syunik Regional Administration, he was appointed the Head of the Subdivision of Agriculture of the Department of Agriculture and Nature Protection.
On September 18, 2016, Mr Shadunts was elected the head of the Tegh multi-residential community.
Since 2022, he has been working in the "HimnaTavush" Development Fund as a program coordinator of the Syunik region.
Nerses Shadunts was awarded the Anania Shirakatsi Medal by the President of the Republic of Armenia in 2017.
On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army, in 2021 he was awarded a medal by the Russian border troops in Armenia for effective cooperation in border protection.
He has been a member of the RPA Council since January 24, 2022.
He is married and has 2 children.
