1985 -1990 - Yerevan Institute of National Economy.

1990 – commodity expert at Mashtots region 9th Catering Industry Association.

1994-1996 - deputy director at Mashtots region 9th Catering Industry Association.

1997 –  2008 - Head of trade and services regulation department in Malatia-Sebastia district administration.

 2008 - head of Malatia-Sebastia community.

 2009 - head of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.

Participated in drafting laws on trade, services, local fees and charges.

Honorary member of Armenian Consumers' National Academy.

Since 1998 - member of the Republican Party of Armenia.

Since 2008 - Chairman of Malatia-Sebastia regional organization.

Member of RPA Council.

Since June, 2013 - Vice-mayor of Yerevan.

Married, has two children.
