Aram Simonyan is the author of eight dozen research papers, including four monographs. The scientific researches relate to the issues of the Armenian History of the second half of 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, particularly the problems of historical statistics, industrial capital, as well as Nagorno Karabakh and Zangezur in 1917-1921. He has participated in numerous republican and international conferences.
